       Locating in southeast of Chengyang district, Yuntougu community of Xiezhuang Town enjoys convenient traffic condition and geographical position by abutting on the east of 308 national highway and only 8km away from Liuting international airport. There are 360 families and 1028 persons in this community. Under the right lead and great support of superior Party committee, the leaders of Yuntougu community taking Hu Qunlun as secretary make the small village that was poor and had hundreds thousand yuan of loans become the rich one with advanced economy by practicing the important thought of “three represents” and “eight dos and eight don’ts” actively. That makes community carry out “construction together and harmony develop” with towards industrial collectivized direction. In 2004, the governable finance of community reached RMB 10.4 million yuan and the per capita income can reach more than RMB 7680 yuan. In recent years, Yuntougu community is elected as Provincial Level Forest Park, Sample Village of Qingdao, and Sample Village with Comparatively Well-off Living Standard in Qingdao, Civilized Village in Qingdao and Advanced Village with High Security in Qingdao. The community has established Qingdao Yuntougu Antisepsis Rivet Weld Co., Ltd, Qingdao Yuntougu Transportation Company, Qingdao Yuntougu ChengSheng Real Estate Co., Ltd and Qingdao Yuntougu Bawangtai Fishing Ground.
       By the end of 2005, Yuntougu Community has invested more than RMB 0.12 billion Yuan to carry out integrated planning and infrastructural construction of the village. Construction plan has been discussed and decided via conference of villagers and has been approved by construction competent department of people’s government in district. 71000 square meters residential building has been built and 360 families have resided in the wide and comfortable building with more than 50 average residing areas, 100％ CATV and water supply diffusion rate. Moreover, the community invested 2 million Yuan buying endowment insurance and rural medicare for all citizens once.The community invests 0.2 million Yuan every year to help those who have difficulties for living because of illness. 400 Yuan subvention is provided to female senior citizens with age of 55 or above and male senior citizens with age of 60 or above. At the same time, subvention or household goods will also be provided for the old when the festival for senior citizens comes. All fees of the children in the kindergarten and the school will be charged by the community with 2000 Yuan for every child annually. Fees from elementary school to senior high school will be exempted; students who pass the examination for junior college or university will be given 5000-10000 Yuan. From January 1st, 2006, 60kg (40kg flour and 20kg rice), four barrels of peanut oil (1.8letre/barrel) will be provided in the last month of every quarter.
       As for reinforcement of spiritual civilization, improvement of diathesis of villagers, construction of science, education, culture, sanitation and sports, the modernized Yuntougu Elementary School which is started in 1999 and is used in 2000 is constructed with its provincial standard, qualified teachers and a complete set of equipment starting the modernized education in certain degree. Our village has excellent literature performance during civilian art festival and villager festival that has won great praise from leaders and audiences.
       In the aspect of economic construction, the community, depending on principle of autonomous management, invigorating the economy and cooperating inner and outside sources, modifies industrial structure and plants new type cash crops---- tea plant. Tea plant development program with total investment of RMB 10.26 million Yuan is started at the beginning of 2000. Meanwhile, Qingdao Yuntougu Tea Company is set up with more than 1000mou tea plant for the first program. After several years’ development, it has gotten lots of good honors such as science and technology demonstration base of Shandong province, bibcock enterprise of farm produce machining in Qingdao city, processing bibcock enterprise of primary products in Qingdao city and elaborate project in Chengyang district etc.Introduction of 16 domestic and overseas investment enterprises well enlarges the economy, greatly provide occupations for farmers and enhances income of the community and villagers. Under the guide of Hu Qunlun, the branch secretary, the leaders of community will carry out the spirit of “hard working, being practical and selfless dedication”, carefully implement courses, guidelines and policy of the party to finish tasks delivered by the government and to create the brilliant tomorrow!
