In order to improve the residents’ mental outlook and make the residents to become very happy from hear, the community increases the hardware of cultural life and facilities investment, and actively carries out the activities of civilization creation, completely exploits cultural connotation, encourages the residents to actively take part in the sparetime cultural activities, which enrich the people’s cultural activities, form the strong and unique local cultural characteristics and upgrade the overall level of civilization among the whole community. We have set up a specialized yangko and percussion instrument team. It puts on performance free every year and takes part in the folk festival hold by city, district and street, and it was awarded every year. All these activities fully encouraged the old people’s passion and enthusiasm. We also have set up the “Res Sunset” performance team which direct and perform by themselves to put on performance. We have chess & card room, library and fitness room; brought Chinese chess, go, various books, exercise bicycles and the other various recreation and fitness equipments, which are provided to the residents for free. We have set up Chinese chess association, and continuously and successfully hold the 11th Chinese chess competition. What’s more, we invited national level chess master Huronghua and Zhaoguorong to carry thought “Master Promote Competition” which upgrades the level and enlarges the effect. We have invested 200 thousand Yuan to set up the first village archery team of the country side and cultivated Hushuangpeng and the other famous and young archers which embodies that the quality education should begin from the children. It is very helpful to know about and understand the game of archery, and promote this item. In order to build a spiritual civilization platform and upgrade the people’s spiritual civilization, the community recognized the 8th August as the Residents’ Festival which is the carnival day for the residents. This festival has been hold successfully for four times and they were very impressive. The people who put on performance were the couples, father and son, the old and the young, and the neighbors who are full of thick happiness. In addition, we also hold the Mountain Climbing Festival every year. Every year, the creation and development of “Ten Stars Household Model of Civilization”, “Filial Star”, “Five Goods Family” and the other cultural and sports activates not only sparkplug the civilization, teach in happiness, improve the residents’ overall quality completely, but also edify the sentiment and upgrade the community’s whole level.
